The World Bank’s overview of education response to the COVID-19 crisis.

The World Bank issued a report aimed at understanding how national education systems around the world cope with the learning crisis caused by COVID-19 outbreak.

The main findings of the overview a formulated as “the impacts on the human capital of this generation of learners is likely to be long-lasting” and “without dramatic remedial efforts and acceleration in education access and quality, there will be major long-term costs in lost human capital accumulation for this generation.”
