UNITAR organizes a course on statistics for sustainable development

United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) has announced a free online course «Understanding data and statistics better — for more effective SDG decision making».

The objective of the course is to show in what way better data can come in useful at developing advanced public policies and at the same time brush up participants’ data processing skills.

The course is at open access and will last from April 9 to July 31, 2020. In the process of the course participants will take a look at how to do interpretation, analysis, and presentation of data relating specifically to Sustainable Development Goals and generally to national and local policies conducted to achieve sustainable development.
